Noah Parr Obituary: 19-Year-Old Dawson Resident Dies in DeKalb County Crash

Noah C. Parr, 19, of Dawson, Alabama, died following a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, August 29, 2026, in DeKalb County, leaving family, friends and members of the community mourning a young life lost far too soon.

According to the information provided by the Gadsden Post, the fatal collision occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Alabama 75 near the 76-mile marker, about one mile north of the Lakeview city limits.

Parr was reportedly driving a 2002 Dodge Dakota pickup when the vehicle was involved in a collision with a 2017 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by 30-year-old Cody A. King of Collinsville.

Parr suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. King was transported to DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne for medical treatment. No further information regarding King’s condition was provided.

The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash and working to determine what led to the two vehicles colliding.
